landscape with freeway and wolf

Yesterday, I walked over to a pedestrian bridge in my neighborhood to shoot pictures of a freeway, so that I could make this notebook cover. Although they say that California’s freeways are in bad condition, with potholes and cracks and uneven surfaces, I enjoy driving over them while looking at the way that the layers from different times create a patchwork of colors.

Before I went to shoot my own pictures, I searched on google for freeway pictures, and came upon this person’s photo blog: http://bluejake.com/
He took pictures of the LA freeway while departing the LA airport. The photograph is just beautiful and exactly how I see freeways!

Alright, enough about my love of freeways. I know they’re not all that nice.
