felt lining

The only time I would wear earrings was when the holes in the ears were about to close. The reason was because the earrings were jumbled up in a box and it was hard to fish out the same pair in a weekday morning rush. The solution is so easy- just get a piece of felt, cut it into strips, and roll them up! When the rolls snugly fit inside a container, they become good cushions for the earrings.

Why have I, a serious fine art lover, suddenly started to make such girly, everyday things?
Well, notebooks and earring containers can be made in less than an hour!
