daily self portraits

I’m drawing daily self portraits and reading a section from an anatomy book for artists. The author of the book I’m currently reading, Louise Gordon, was a medical illustrator in her career, so her examples are detailed and precise, which is really good. Practicing yoga also helps me understand human anatomy bit by bit, and keeps me aware of all the parts.
In the past few days I focused on the arm. Then I moved onto the legs. I seem to have the least figure drawing knowledge of the lower half of the body, which I think is because the lower body is far away from the eyes, and I don’t naturally see much of it in front of the mirror as I see my face and arms and shoulder every day. A model would be good, but using myself is okay too.
