b&w photos

The darkroom visit finally happened!
I found Rayko photo in San Francisco to be a really good place to do photo work.
I processed two rolls (a kodak TX400 and an ilford HP5) of 35mm b&w film and printed these enlargements.
The first two photos are from New York’s central park, when the artist duo Christo and Jean-Claude had the Gates installed in 2005. The third print came from the negatives I processed today, and it was from a night that had really strange cloud patterns out of my window.
I mistakenly used only half of the required amount of chemicals in processing the roll films, and as a result, got negatives that lack contrast, which gave me pitch-black prints. I compensated for the faulty negatives by reducing the print’s time in the developer as well as the exposure time, but the photos from these two faulty rolls, like the night sky photo above, still look hazy.
